Army Fitness Classes

Army Fitness is a superb way to build all-round flexibility and strength by training according to a military regimen.

It is difficult to describe Army Fitness classes without sounding 'tough' or making it seem that only gravely voiced battle hardened squaddies can do this course because it really is designed to build military level fitness rather than military level toughness.

The classes are based on classic exercise combinations of press ups, sit ups, squat thrusts and running.

The exercises build stamina, muscular strength and, with work and assuming you have a sensible diet, a really pristine physique.

Army Fitness is our core business and, as an outdoor activity, the feeling of elation when you've finished and worked really hard is just second to none.

Most people who come to this class pack up their gym membership too because it is just not as effective or as much fun, so do come and join in, this is where your new you begins.

Class Sizes

Structure : 60% women to 40% men.

Class Size : 15 - 20 people per instructor.

Running Club

Running Club sessions are new to Army Boot Camp Fitness.  The running club focuses on training to do with distance running, so there's less focus on press up style exercises and more on sprint training, distance running and building stamina for endurance.

The classes aim to make you improve your running by concentrating on your running style and gait and making your running style more efficient so you can extend your stride and get more out of the energy you put in.

As with all things Army Boot Camp Fitness, you don't need to be a great runner to start with, you just need some commitment and be able to get stuck in.

Fitness Test

The fitness test is your way of finding out how fit you are.  A lot of people think these classes are really tough but they're actually easier than a regular class.

Each fitness test or 'Bleep Test' is run during a normal class and lasts about 20 minutes in total.

There's no pass or fail on the fitness test either so its just for you to gauge how fit you are.

A complete description of the Bleep Test is here.

Custom Personal and Group Training Classes

If you would prefer regular one to one training sessions, then Personal training is the course for you.  We custom build the class to suit your pace and fitness, so whether you want to train for Himalayan endurance, want to get back to training after injury or just want to train at a time to suit you, then ask us about Personal Training.

We can also run sessions to suit your needs in any park or location in London by arrangement so if you need a trainer in the City for a fast burn around Bank or bimble 'round Bankside, then Personal Training with Army Boot Camp Fitness is the ticket!

We can also do fitness classes for a group of you and your friends or colleagues if you want to do customised group training programmes at a time to suit you.  This is popular with groups of people doing things such as the three peaks challenge and so forth.
