Joining Army Boot Camp Fitness

Joining Army Boot Camp Fitness has never been easier.  Here's the simple three steps to a starting with us.

Step 1 - Fill in your application online

The first step is to fill in your name and details online.

Your submission uses industry standard 128 bit SSL to secure the connection between your browser and our servers, so your data cannot be intercepted in transit.

Your bank or building society uses the same level of encryption online.

If you are generally fit and well, we take you for your first class for free, with no obligation to join whatsoever.

The class is split according to ability so you will always be with people who have the same fitness level as you, so please, don't worry about being at the back of the class; you can't ALL be there!!

Step 2 - Try out for free at your first class

Use the timetable menu to pick a class time to suit you.  You can come along to any class and you can bring friends or come on your own.

There will be a short health and safety briefing before you start so arrive about 15 minutes before your first class starts.

You should wear comfortable loose fitting clothing such as t-shirts, shorts or jogging bottoms depending on the weather.

Don't buy expensive clothes either as you'll be running around in the park getting you clothes dirty, so don't get your kit from Harrods, whatever you do!

As for trainers or running shoes, we find that people show up in their old trainers they use for painting and they will do for a while.

It's only after a couple of lessons that you realise that you will need better shoes with proper impact protection to help stabilise and support your foot.

Your first class is free so you can see how you feel about the class and see whether this is the workout for you.

Step 3 - Choose a Subscription or Block Sessions

So you liked the class and want to sign up to Army Boot Camp Fitness - that's natural!  Once you've been to your free Army Boot Camp Fitness Class, we send you a welcome letter and a standing order form so you can join the classes.

You only need to choose whether to join by Subscription or by Block Sessions.  So what's the difference?  We explain.

Membership by Subscription

Membership by Subscription is a subscription to Army Boot Camp Fitness by standing order for people who want to go along to sessions, with everything paid in advance and want total control over their payments.

When you have complete your free class, you simply wait for us to send you your Standing Order mandate form and then fill it in and return it to us.

In the meantime, you can still come to Army Boot Camp Fitness classes, and they're free too - it incentivises us to get the paperwork done on time!!

Here's the pros and cons of Membership by Subscription..

Pros

  • We track your usage and attendance.
  • You show up as often as your membership permits.
  • Standing order means you can quit whenever you want.
  • No tie-in and no contractual commitment.
  • No minimum buy in period.
  • You can set up the standing order or we can set it up for you.
  • Once the standing order is set up, you can forget about it.
  • You're in total control.
  • The more you train, the cheaper your class gets.
  • Much higher likelihood of sticking to training and getting fit in the long term.

Cons

  • None.

Membership by Subscription - Rate Card

Here's the current subscription rate card for membership by standing order.

1 Session per week £30 per month
2 Sessions per week £40 per month
Unlimited Sessions £50 per month

Setting up your standing order yourself..

If you're setting up your standing order yourself online, then here's how to do it..

  1. Log on, or phone your bank.  When online, set up your standing order as follows.
  2. Pick how often you want to come to the classes.  Let's say you want to go to classes twice a week, paying £40.00 a month.
  3. Make an initial payment of twice your chosen rate, in this case, £80.00 due to go out one month from today.  That pays for all this month and next month.
  4. Now make regular payments of £40.00 a month starting two months from today.  That pays for your regular monthly usage.
  5. Err.. that's it.  When we see your standing order come through, we'll email you to say we can see it and that's all there is to it!
