Which bib are you?  Your fitness level grade!

At Army Boot Camp Fitness, we grade all our members according to ability so that you get the right work out for you.

When you arrive at the park, you register with us and then grab a bib according to which fitness level you are.

Traffic Lights - Explained

We use a three bib system to identify your fitness based on a traffic light system.

The Red Bib

Beginner or Novice Fitness level.  The honourable red bib is recommended for people with basic fitness and new joiners.

Even if you go to a gym or have some other exercise, we always start you off in reds so that you don't get overloaded on your first session.

If you are obviously more than fit enough to move up a group, then you can move to the next group at the next session.

Reds are also recommended for people restarting training after injury for low impact workouts.

The Yellow Bib

Intermediate Fitness Level.  At the yellow bib level, you are probably pretty fit already and quite enthusiastic about it.

You will probably be training twice a week and probably also do something else such as go to a gym or play football.

The Green Bib

Advanced Fitness.  You are a monster!  At this level you will be very fit indeed and have no problem with your fitness.

You will probably run 10k distance in about 40 minutes and be really aerobically fit.

The green workout is very hard by most standards and you will be really exhausted after this session.  You will probably only be able to do this kind of training three times a week at the very maximum.

During Training

You will each be split into the right group and then do similar types of exercises but in each group you'll have to do more distance or repetitions of exercises.

For example, everyone might have to do a shuttle run, but reds will run 15 metres, yellows 20 metres and green, 25 metres.  That way, you will all finish at the same time, but will work harder according to group.
