Victoria Park, London, E9

Opened to the public in 1845, the majestic Victoria Park is a verdant oasis tucked away in the East End of London.

The park was designed by Sir James Pennethorne and is a classic urban London park environment.

Bordered by Regents Canal on the west side and the Hertford Union Canal on the southern side, it represents a beautiful backdrop to our classes every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

In the summer, the grass areas are firm and perfect for training while in Winter, the soil drains well and doesn't cut up as easily as some other parks.

The park is seldom busy, so there is always plenty of pedestrian-free room to manoeuvre and take in this green and pleasant land.

Tuesdays and Saturdays are the busiest days, so if you want to see what it's all about, they're the best days to meet up and get started.  Thursdays are quieter so if you prefer a smaller group, this should be the ticket.
