Here at Army Bootcamp Fitness we train outdoors all year round. Over the past 16 years we have never cancelled a session due to weather. This is because we truly believe that training outdoors trumps working out in a gym any day of the week. And now that the Sun is back it makes training outside even better!
If you're still wondering if you should be smashing the circuits in the fresh air here are 5 reasons why!

Get your vitamin D hit! 'The Sunshine Vitamin' is vital in staying healthy, it absorbs calcium and helps maintain strong bones. it also contributes to the health of your muscles, nerves and immune system.

Train with Friends. Because of the large open spaces we get to train in larger groups, training in groups is fun and also a great way to get motivated whilst watching other members train alongside you. Training outdoors is an excellent way of meeting new people whilst you work out.

Take in the scenery. Very often it is quite easy to get bored exercising stuck inside. Being outdoors and able to take in natures beautiful open spaces keeps the mind active which in turn keeps you more motivated and wanting to be in the open working out.

Free fresh air. We all seem to be experts now on trying to stay out of enclosed spaces with others and breathing in recycled air. There is no better way of filling up those lungs with fresh clean air than being out in the park surrounded by the lovely greenery.

Boost your mental health. By combining all of the above your body will be realising masses of endorphins which are 'feel good chemicals' these help massively in lifting your mood whilst lowering anxiety and depression.
